Our Mission

Heartland’s Mission is to develop, own and operate faith sponsored senior care communities in multiple Dioceses throughout the country. Heartland works with the local parish community to foster Diocesan involvement in the project to develop high quality senior care communities that support residents and retired clergy through a mission fund.

Heartland America, LLC’s unique faith sponsored commitment to the mission of quality senior care is the true essence of our development and operational approach to senior living. Heartland first seeks out local religious organizations and Pastors dedicated to seniors’ ministry. Heartland then develops a strong relationship with those organizations and Pastors to sponsor the community. The next step is to identify a suitable project site in close proximity to the sponsoring church(s).

Once the community is operational, with the guidance of Heartland and the sponsoring churches, the ViaVita provides financial support to a mission fund which can assist with lower income seniors with rent or can be used to assist seniors within the market area with other needs.  The connection and synergy of the local faith community to that of the senior care community help dramatically to develop and build larger senior care communities with improved financial results. The Community will be open to all persons regardless of race, religion or national origin.

Responsibilities of ViaVita at Washington Township and affiliates of Heartland

• Assisted with site selection proximate to the faith organization’s location
• Provide mission funds to support faith organization to support lower income of people in need of care and enhance the well being of seniors within the area
• Design facilities to promote spiritual health and wellness, good nutrition, and great socialization
• Coordinate interactive activities with the sponsoring faith organization continually
• Provide transportation to the local churches, medical appointments and all other local locations necessary
• Promote a solid connection within the area & welcome pastors, priests, and church members of any faith to the ViaVita community
  
  

Responsibilities of Faith Sponsor

• Enthusiastically promotes the community to its members and others
• Engages with the residents to support spiritual well being
• Encourages the greater church community to become involved in “senior ministries”
• Promotes the use of the mission funds collaboratively
• Promotes the facility to the faith community, the greater local community, its family members, and friends which results in a larger community and development
